This beach has showers and public toilets, vigilance towers, life saving and first aid equipment, as well as being watched over by life guards in the summer season.

Due to its location and characteristics this beach is situated on the Golden Mile of Marbella, next to the Marbella Club Urbanization. It is 800 meters long and some 50 meters wide, made up by blonde colored sand proceeding from a regeneration process.

The municipal cleaning service carries out the daily maintenance of the beach both manually and mechanically.

The beach is flanked by a promenade. It is a tourist beach with a high occupation level, different water sports are practiced here such as windsurf, jet skiing, waterbikes, etc. Among the services offered are two of the most representative hotels in Marbella, the Hotel Puente Romano and the Hotel Marbella Club, both with four stars, as well as two beach clubs and a beach restaurant. The sea is classified as being in good condition.
